I feel your pain on missing a couple of the Storm capabilities, but android is awesome! I got the Droid X. Love it. And I think some of the android phones are global ready for 40 countries. Now I recognize those may not be the countries you're visiting, but figured I'd mention it.

how wonderful that you were able to opt to start with the MBA program! i just finished a JD/MBA (where we had to follow the traditional start with law school route) and graduation was a bit of a lonely affair given that the students i had started with at both the b-school and law school were long gone.

I think the season is over (I was picking them around the second week of June), but I usually buy them at Sam's Club. They typically have big containers for less than the small containers at the grocery store. I've also been meaning to check out that produce-only store that's on 29 near the mall.

To the comment regarding the Festival badges - I know they are not cheap, but they don't cost as much as much as the difference between what we paid and what can be accounted for. I have heard that the market badges for professionals run somewhere in the $300-$500 range. If we/Darden worked to set up substantive internships with the companies where we have relationships, it would be possible to get badges through those companies. I would expect that the students would be more than willing to cover the costs.

Really an interesting trip. I love traveling but i have not enough money to travel outside of my country. Thanks again.

One thing that you fail to mention or take into account in your complaints and calculations about how cheaply you could attend the Festival yourself...is the fact that you could not attend the Festival on your own. The Festival is for industry professionals only. You are a student and there is no mechanism by which you can attend. In order to get accreditation or a market badge you must demonstrate that you are a legitimate entertainment industry professional

Your GBE posts are entertaining. The Admissions Office emails links to current students' blogs to bounce questions about UVA's MBA program. The GBE options are great and Spain is a fun choice. Which ones are more popular choices for first-years and second-years? How does the school evaluate the GBE's?

My brother played D2 LAX in college on the west coast (yeah, they do have programs...). Needless to say, I've gotten multiple scoldings for missing oh so imperative LAX games - including one when Virginia went to 6 or 7 overtimes. I don't recall, but it was a record or something.

Have a blast in Barca! I went last year (without the GBE though).
